The Yurok Tribe recently hosted its 2nd Annual Elder Summit to honor their elders and celebrate their vital role in our community. TCIL representatives, including Dora Bernal, Juliannah Harris, and Jessica Warrick, tabled information about TCIL programs at the 2025 Yurok Elders Summit.
Topics discussed included the historic Fish Wars, highlighting the resilience and strength of the Yurok people and our determination to stand firm in protecting our rights and resources. Additionally, there was a passionate call to continue fighting for the return of lands that rightfully belong to the Yurok people.
