Tri-County Independent Living’s Emergency Preparedness Coordinator Tara Groswird has successfully completed the CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) training that was held this month by the CERT organization and Humboldt Bay fire.
The 23 hour training focuses on emergency response techniques, management and life saving skills. Tara is proud to have taken part in the training and has received her certification for completion. She plans to join the Arcata CERT team with prospects of joining the Humboldt Bay Fire team in the future.
