Humboldt County’s Local Resource for Aging & Disability Services

We are excited to share that as of April 2024, the North Coast Aging & Disability Resource
Connection (ADRC) has been designated by the California Department of Aging as the local
ADRC serving Humboldt County. We are strengthening the services we provide through a core
partnership with Area One Agency on Aging (A1AA), Tri-County Independent Living (TCIL) and
North Coast Health Improvement and Information Network (NCHIIN). We are working together
to streamline access to Long-Term Service and Supports (LTSS) for older adults and people
with disabilities of all ages.
Every day, we meet individuals who are unsure where to turn for help whether it’s applying for
benefits, hiring in-home care, securing housing, accessing transportation, or getting food or
home modifications.
The North Coast ADRC is here to help you navigate the complex network of LTSS. Our goal is
to make access to essential services simpler, more coordinated, and tailored to your unique
needs through our growing network of extended partners, we connect consumers with a broad
range of core services, including:
● Enhanced Information & Assistance
● Person-Centered Options Counseling
● Short-Term Service Coordination
● Home Transition Support
This collaborative model strengthens local service systems and ensures LTSS are more
accessible, coordinated, and aligned with the needs of our community. Rather than repeating
your story at every agency, you’ll receive personalized, consistent guidance built around your
circumstances. Contact us at…
