Anisa Escobedo is the Systems Change & Special Projects Coordinator for TCIL as of April 2023 and previously served as Advocacy & Outreach Specialist in 2020. Anisa has a wealth of experience in various roles, including Executive Director of the Arcata Chamber of Commerce, Executive Director for Ravenna Chamber of Commerce, and Membership Services Director for the Greater Corona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
Anisa was recognized as one of Corona Chamber of Commerce’s “40 under 40 Best and Brightest” in 2017. She’s served on several boards, advisory committees, and statewide organizations, such as Corona Chamber of Commerce Ambassador, Cal-Nev-Ha Kiwanis, Division 20, Lt. Governor, California Disability Action Coalition Vice Chair, and Northcoast Kiwanis President.
In 2023, Governor Galvin Newsom appointed Anisa to the California State Independent Living Council (SILC), and she also serves on the California Committee on Employment with People with Disabilities. Since 2016, Anisa has been a member of Kiwanis International, a global service organization that focuses on helping children.
