TCIL staff participated in the first Redwood Coast Mental Health Symposium – Rooted in Wellness, organized by the Humboldt County Office of Education and the Humboldt County DHHS.
The aim of this event was to promote resilience in both young people and adults through a mix of interactive workshops, cultural experiences, and fun activities. By combining humor and play with important topics such as mental health awareness and social-emotional skills, the event sought to create an engaging and supportive environment. The symposium was held at the Sequoia Conference Center in Eureka, California.
