Tri-County Independent Living (TCIL) Board of Directors has elected new officers. We are excited to announce the new members and express our gratitude to outgoing members for their dedicated service.
We extend our sincere thanks to Kevin O’Brien for his service to the organization since 2006, including 3 terms as President of the Board. We also thank Scott Baker, who has served on the board 2015, including 3 terms as Secretary. We are pleased to announce that both Mr. O’Brien and Mr. Baker have been named honorary members of the board.
Our board comprises a diverse group of dedicated professionals, community leaders, and passionate advocates who represent the wider community of people with disabilities, their caregivers, and allies. They serve as stewards of our mission, vision, and values, providing crucial fiscal oversight and guiding our organization toward achieving its goals. As an Independent Living Center, more than 50% of TCIL’s staff and board members are persons with significant disabilities, ensuring our lived experience resonates with the community we serve.
