Written by: Lisa Leon, ADRC Program Manager

To support the North Coast Aging & Disability Resource Connection (ADRC), Lisa Leon continues to schedule in-service trainings for core and extended partners. The ADRC is partnered with North Coast Care Connect, a program of NCHIIN, to manage referrals, document cases, track outreach, and report data to the California Department of Aging.
To promote sustainability, Lisa recently secured a $1,000 grant from the Humboldt Area Foundation’s Senior Citizens Foundation Fund. These funds will support A1AA and TCIL consumers with costs related to transportation, home modifications, adaptive equipment, daily activity programs, and one-time quality-of-life purchases.
TCIL has welcomed Liz Rice as the ADRC Service Coordinator. She assists at-risk individuals by coordinating services for up to 90 days or until a long-term support plan is in place, connecting them with ADRC extended partners under the No Wrong Door approach.
A1AA and TCIL continue joint outreach efforts, building community partnerships and increasing awareness of the ADRC. As part of this outreach, you may notice we have introduced a new ADRC logo alongside the existing TCIL branding and unveiled new outreach materials that reflect our expanding network and mission.
